Updating to WP 3.3.1

  • Will updating to WP 3.3.1 make significant changes to what I have now with 3.2.1? Will any of my social media data change, for instance all the FB likes & Twitter activity? Also, will my plugins & widgets still operate appropriately? My main plug-in concern is Blogger To WordPress Redirection. I had my blog originally on google blogger and all the data has been redirected to a WP Suffusion template and I don’t want to mess with that.

    Any suggestions and/or thoughts on updating would be appreciated.

  • I haven’t used those plugins, but there’s not many that break in that upgrade, so you should be alright.

    Having said that, make sure you do the step that’s always recommended and take a full back up of your current websites files and database before you do anything. That way if something does go wrong you can revert back to the older version easily.
