Updating to latest version

    Hello. I am using Download Manager and recently noticed that the download page (not the document itself that you download, but the landing page for each file) is giving an “Error 404: Page Not Found” message. The version I’m using is 4.1.2. I see that a newer version of the plugin is available but there is no link to update it from the Plugins list within WordPress. I’m concerned that if I re-install it in the plugins folder in my FTP client, I will lose the files I’ve already uploaded.

    Thoughts on what the problem could be, and/or how to update this plugin to (hopefully!) resolve the issue?

  • Please try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin and in admin menu->
    Settings->Permalinks->Save Changes. This can solve the issue.
