Updating to 6.5 changes functionality, causes site to possibly violate GDPR
-
Your changelog should have noted that the plugin has different functionality now which connects the site to a service. When the 200000+ users of this plugin update their sites, they won’t even realize that they will be in violation of the GDPR because their comment sections will now be sending user comments to a 3rd party. This could have been avoided by noting these changes in the changelog for the 6.5 update.
