Updating to 5.0.3 stuck at unpacking the update

  • I am trying to update to WordPress version 5.0.3 as it prompts in the admin page. But it gets stuck at Unpacking the update …
    I am not comfortable doing the manual update. Please help with the automatic update.

    if it’s stuck unpacking *and you’re unwilling to do the manual update*, then I suggest you make sure you have sufficient disk space. Check the free disk on the server, how much free space you have under your quota, and how much free space is available on the /tmp partition on your server. Contact your host’s tech support.

    I have more than enough disk space on the server. Increased the execution time to 120 from 90. Still, It is stuck there.

    Please tell me the details, especially the free space in /tmp

    MySQL? Disk Usage 18.76 MB / ∞
    Physical Memory Usage 20.55 MB / 1 GB
