Updating to 3.8 is stuck. How to get site up again.

  • I am using Panorama Theme.
    I updated 3 other sites seamlessly, so I used the automatic update.
    It got stuck part way and now says, “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” It has not done anything else since. What can I do to get my site back up and running.

    More info:
    The admin page said it had not completed the update and click the message again. When I did, this is the message I got:
    “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

    What do I do now?
