• I just updated to Embed YouTube to 10.7 for the new features and my site stalls on the loading screen with the plugin activated. I deactivated all of my plugins and activated them one by one to be sure and it was Embed YouTube. I’m not sure any other affects other than it stalling my website from being loaded, but I will have to keep it deactivated until the next update to fix this bug. I have another site that is running 10.5 and its running smoothly so I am sure it’s with this update.

    Please address the following to help fix your issue:

    1) What’s your site’s URL?

    2) Reactivate the YouTube plugin and clear any cache you might have from caching or CDN plugins running? This is typically advised after updating anything on your site.

    Please report back.

    I had the same problem. I had to revert back to 10.5

    It disabled my video and images

    @all

    We’d like this thread to be about trying out the solution(s) we’ve offered and not reverting.

    If you have actually tried the first solution presented above, which actually doesn’t involve doing anything to v.10.7 of the plugin, please report back results.

    I did clear all caches before reverting back but to no avail. As this was creating a lot of issues on the site I had to change back. Sorry/

    We have thousands of users running 10.7 with no problems, so the following helps immensely with narrowing down specific issues to your sites:

    1) Please provide the link to your site’s homepage.
    2) Please provide a list of your plugins.
    3) Please provide the name or link to your theme.
    3) Be specific when you say “crash” or “doesn’t work.” Please be as detailed as possible in explaining exactly what is happening on the screen.
    4) Please provide a link to a page on your site that actually exhibits the problem. This is probably the most helpful of these steps, as it allows us to directly see/debug the problem. However, if you don’t wish to show this, please take a screenshot of an example problematic page before reverting. Then upload that screenshot somewhere for us to see (imgur.com is a convenient tool to share the screenshot with us.)
    5) If you are familiar with Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools, please send any Javascript console errors that your site may be outputting while our plugin is activated.
