Updating theme in editor and no change on web pages

  • Hello!
    I’m hoping someone has run into this before. I’m editing files in the theme editor successfully but those changes are not taking effect on the site. I have cleared my browser cache (chrome) and have been using Ctrl-F5. I’m sure I’ve got the right theme file and have done extensive removal of code from several theme files to verify that no matter the amount of changes, those are not making it to the live site. Any ideas what could be happening?

  • Do you use any plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache or any similar plugins?

    No, none of those. I did find that when I viewed the site on another computer it displayed with changes made in the editor. So somehow my web browser isn’t cooperating. I cleared my cash and did a ctrl F5 refresh. Kinda frustrating.
