Updating the learnress causing critical error in my student dashbord.

    Hi there,

    My website is a little older, running on Version 3.2.8.3 of LearnPress.
    In this version, everything is working fine, But when updating the plugin it stops working. and under progress courses, and other tabs it shows an error like “Your website has critical errors”. but it works fine in the admin panel, I can see all my courses, lessons, etc but not on the student’s dashboard.

    Then I restore the previous version of my website using a backup. and I try to update the Yoast SEO plugin even then it showed issues like while adding new order for a course I cannot see the list of users to assign him my registered courses.

    I want to update both the plugins but they are giving errors when i do anything with these plugins. Please sovle this isse for me.

    Hi,

    Please create a staging site and then upgrade plugins on that site.
    Note: When upgrade LearnPress from version 3 to 4, you need to upgrade database to it can work normally.

    Hi there,
    Thanks for the help. I upgraded the database from the tools tab of LearnPress and now its working fine. I updated all the plugins except YoastSEO. If i update, delete or even deactivate YoastSEO plugin LearnPress stops working correctly. It shows many issues such as List of users not coming up if we want to create a new order manually and there might be other errors too and just encountered this one.
    Please help me regard this issue i want to update my yoastSEO plugin too.

    Please create a staging site then try to upgrade all plugins. Before upgrade, you need to enable the debug log to find the cause of the problem.

    Hi there,

    I am getting this error in the console when I update, delete, or even deactivate Yoast SEO plugin. In my order tab of learnpress, when I try to add a new order manually, it does not open up the list of users instead this error count increases every time in the console.

    Can you try to switch to the default WordPress theme to check? We find it has an issue with the Astra Site plugin.

    Hi adeeloriel,

    We see your site use plugin “astra-sites”. Please deactivate it to recheck.
    We think, you should actiavate only LP and theme default, and check if run normally, you can enable step by step each plugins to check. Then activate theme you want to using.

    Hi there,
    Thanks for the help. It was Starter Templates Plugin from Astra causing this issue. Can you tell me what is the issue so i can contact with Astra support team to tell them fix it.

    Hello, I have updated Learnpress and database and checked and not have astra plugin neither yoast seo plugin but I am getting the error from the beginning of the thread. I am getting the following error DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://escuelaumauma.com/wp-content/plugins/learnpress-course-review/assets/css/course-review.css.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE when trying to load https://escuelaumauma.com/courses/taller-alimentacion-complementaria-metodo-blw/
