• Trying to update settings on a commercial theme for someone, when I do it causes Wordfence to give the 403 Forbidden error. A potentially unsafe operation has been detected…

It gives me the option to whitelist the action, which I don’t want to do.

It does this every time I try to change an option from the theme’s built in options page.

Solostream Wp Professional is the theme

Any ideas on why this is happening?

403 Forbidden Errors when updating plugin options. Any Ideas?

    Hi kilwag,

I would suggest you put the firewall into “Learning Mode” and try saving the options again. That will probably be better for you in the long run as it will adjust the settings automatically and decide what actions are safe.

Hmm. I’m just wondering what the unsafe action is, and why did it trigger the alert. If I ignore every unsafe action, what’s the point of enabling it?
