I don’t know if I’m in the right section for this, but looking for information on updating my site/themes. currently I have a site with two subdomains (each has it’s own wordpress installation). Is there a way to update all of them at the same time just by logging into my main site. I did not utilize the multisite function, code, or whatever because I can not/have not figure that out for my sites yet.

you have two separate wordpress installs, that means they are completely different from each other.

Updating wordpress means you will replace your wordpress installation files (.php, .js, .css….) with the new one, so unless you don’t have multi-site installation you have to update both of them separately.. ??

that’s what I figured…thank you Manoj. So, what’s the easiest/best way to go about installing multisite? Backup my current site and follow the tuts? I’ve read it’s best to start from a clean install…any insight you can give would be helpful – and again, Thanks.

Backup your site. Pick your primary domain to be the ‘home’ of the network. Activate Multisite. Off you go ??

You’ll be prompted to use a subdomain install becuase your site is more than 30 days old.
