Updating site after adding image to gallery

I’m having inconsistent results when adding images to gallery. I upload, update, visit site, and I do not always see the update. I have done refreshes. Clearly I’m doing something wrong. Also, I do not see “revisions’ listed after the Add. Thanks for your help.
