Updating & Publishing failed errors…

  • I love everything I see about the Gutenberg editor so my bias is on the side of “can’t wait” but…

    It’s seriously buggy and not ready for prime time. I’m testing out the Gutenberg editor plugin on a fairly new site with minimal content and when trying to create, save or publish a new post I keep getting 2 errors saying “Updating Failed” and “Publishing Failed”.

    I deactivated all the plugins in case there was some kind of conflict but that didn’t solve the problem. Seriously not impressed with the Gutenberg editor experience so far and can’t imagine using it in it’s present state on a live site!
