• Hi all,

I am trying to amend some text on my wordpress website and when I update the page I get this error: Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

It was working fine until a few days ago and now I can’t update pages on my website.

It’s this page I am trying to amend:[ redundant link removed ]

I uninstall all plugins including Gutentor, and Glutenberg and change my theme to default Twenty Twenty but still my page is not saving and show the errors the response is not valid JSON.

I tried to recreate the page and it saved so far before having the same problem.

I need WordPress support as my website is getting unusable and I need it to promote my work.

  • Hi,
I see you have Jetpack installed. Are there any security settings enabled? Also I see an http get error on this url – https://tao.theartyone.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/RedPandas4WP.jpg

Have you tried using different browsers?

I have gotten this error in the past but it was because I did not whitelist my IP address in my firewall.

    Hi @bigmoxy

    Thank you for your reply.

That link is for my other website. Not sure how you got that link to https://www.artymikey.uk

Not tried other browsers yet but my WP app won’t let me save changes either.

Why would my desktop or laptop IP address affect my WP website? Other pages save okay just that page.

I have the same issue at read.twedt.com – when I try to update any blog post, I get this error message. I’ve tried disabling all of my plugins first, and I still get this error.
