Updating page brings me to "Posts" page

    Hello folks.

    I haven’t updated, I haven’t installed anything, I haven’t fiddled around with any of the php.
    Suddenly out of the blue, pressing Update on a PAGE brings me to the “Posts” page. As if I had just deleted a post.

    Does anyone have a notion of what might make it do that?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    It’s stopped doing this. Sorry for wasting your time. It’s possibly my browser (Opera)
