• My clients get alot of checks each holiday. Members want to extend their membership yearly by checks.
    I uploaded the file:
    https://www.lymedisease.org/MEMBER-IMPORT-12-3-2018-nextyear.csv
to extend the test membership by 1 year, in the error log i got the following:
[Line 1] No user_login or user_email supplied/generated, or the user_login/user_email is already in use at row 2 (Not imported!)
Yes, the login/email is already in use, however i need to extend the membership by 1 year. Sometimes members also choose a different membership type and higher dollar amount.
In your form i dont see where i can upload a new order only and dont understand how i would change the csv file to do this.
    please advise.
    thank you.

    Hi,

Thank you for using my plugin!

I can’t access your import file (get a 404 error – Page not found).

As a result and until I can access it, I can’t review your import file to see what changes would be needed to add a new order record for your members.

    I want to be clear:
    1. i add my csv file. this is for a new member. An order is created but a user is not created. Im not sure this is a problem, but seems odd that a wordpress user is not created, as when a user purchases a membership online, a user is created in wordpress along with paid membership pro order.
    2. the next year, I want to add an order for an existing member. – the only thing different is the start date and end date of the membership in the csv file. The user has purchased a new yearly membership. the order is not imported.

thank you for your help. Laurie

    Hi,

The plugin was never designed to act as an order import engine, so this isn’t something I’ve done any testing of, sorry.

My rationale was that the Orders page in the /wp-admin/ backend has the add order functionality and thus serves that purpose.

I would need to spend time testing order (only) importing, but am currently doing a major refactoring of the plugin, so it’s not something I can get resolved/done right away.
