• Hi, one of our clients contacted us with the following problem:
“First, I use AWS and Cloudfront in my wordpress installation (S3 Offload Lite plugin). So when I upload a new image, it gets uploaded to AWS and then distributed to Cloudfront edge servers. The problem is that when the image is optimized by ShortPixel, it is then updated on AWS as well. This is great. However, at that point, Cloudfront has already cached the unoptimized version across its network.

Is there no solution to this particular setup?”

As far as I can see, after an image update, the CloudFront cache must be invalidated (as per https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/Invalidation.html). Does WP Offload S3 Lite plugin do this?

    Thanks,
    Simon from ShortPixel.
