Hi – Is it possible to update the url of a link that has been created without changing the short-form? Or would it require a paid plan for that?

And is it possible to use the links that have been created elsewhere, or only on the website itself?

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

You can edit the target link with the free version. You don’t need the URL Shortify PRO for this.

You can also set the external target URL with the free version. There is no limitation to that and you can create unlimited short links.

    Hope that helps.

That’s wonderful, thank you very much. I’ve installed this now and am already using it. What a great app you have developed.

I think I’ve found a little bug. There’s an option to import links from another (more limited) plugin called ThirstyAffiliates. However, ThirstyAffiliates uses links with an additional sub-directory in the address, and once the links are imported, then future links I add to your app are limited to that using that sub-directory only. I had to uninstall and completely delete and then reinstall the app to get around this.

    Hello,

Glad to hear that you like URL Shortify.

With regards to bug you mentioned, we would like to inform you that there is a prefix you can add to short URL and when you migrate from other plugin, we set that prefix if that plugin is already use it.

Link prefix feature is available in URL Shortify PRO version. So, if you are using URL Shortify PRO, you will be able to edit/ remove link prefix from the settings panel.

    Hope that helps.
