updating from wp 4.2.15 to current

  • I’m tasked with updating a site that was built with Wp 4.2.15, using Visual Composer. I want to update both. Are there any specific issues I should be aware of before I proceed? Of course, I will do a full backup of the site as it is now, just in case. But can I do an update in one fell swoop of WordPress or do I need to update incrementally?
