Updating failed when saving posts with a Woocommerce product block

When saving a blog post or cpt that uses the Woocommerce “Hand-picked products” block, the post will not save and this error is shown:

Updating failed. Unexpected token ‘<‘, …” <script ty”… is not valid JSON

When I view the editor page source, I see Beetle Tracking scripts (related to those products) added before the opening html tag:
