“The response is not a valid JSON response” message on using HTML code block

  • Hi,

    Everytime I use custom HTML block, it throws me an error: Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

    I use this block to display ads. Also, if I try to embed Instagram or Twitter posts through HTML block, same error message gets displayed. I know there’s a seperate block for them and it works if I use dedicated Insta/Twitter post block.

    The real problem is HTML block. Is there a problem with it? And yes, I’m using the latest version of WordPress

    Please help!

  • Just enter “aaaa” in the HTML code block. Does that work? I suppose so. Then it would be interesting which HTML code you actually want to enter? Maybe it causes a problem when saving.
