    I am trying to add [ Contact Form 7 ] short code in my wordpress contact us page, unfortunately it is not working with this error message. ( Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response. ) Am using Understrap Theme. Screenshot image also attached.

    Do you see the same problem if you try to update any other page? I’ve seen a similar error once (just Gutenberg, no other plugins) and logging out then logging back in helped me. You could give that a try.

    If the issue only happens on the Contact form 7 related pages then I recommend asking its support community for help:

    There’s no single answer to what’s causing this error to happen, it might be from plugin/theme conflict to a simple permalink issue. I advise checking the article and overviewing what could be the case.
