Updating Failed and Publishing Failed

    My content isn’t being saved, nor can I publish new posts. On drafts as well as new posts, I keep getting the error message “Updating failed”. Upon trying to publish a new post, I get the error “Publishing failed”.

    Oops forgot to include that I am using the latest version of Opera 56.0.3051.43

    The same problem! I wanted to switch over to the new editor, but that’s not possible because one has either to plan, or to publish new posts ?? otherwise this editor is quite useless ??

    Not sure what the issue was, it seems to have resolved itself. I can edit older posts as well as new posts, and they update and publish no problem. I’m marking this thread as resolved for now. Will open a new one should the problem arise again. @mkreyn hopefully the issue fixed itself for you as well! ??
