    Hi,

I seem to be having an issue when updating any blog posts. This is the error I get:

Updating failed. Could not update the meta value of _wpas_is_tweetstorm in database.

It seems I cannot attach/upload a screenshot photo, so hoping this uploaded image helps.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Edit 2: Can this topic be moved to the “Support ? Plugin: Jetpack – WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth”? So a double post is not needed.

Edit: I can confirm that I have found the setting causing the problem within Jetpack.

Under the “Sharing” tab, and turning “Publicized Connections” off.

Connect your website to the social media networks you use and share your content across all your social accounts with a single click. When you publish a post, it will appear on all connected accounts.

I am unsure why this setting suddenly has caused the issue, I do not even have a twitter account connected, only LinkedIn. I suppose its just as easy for me to manually share my content.

Hi James thanks for the reply.

Turns out it was a plugin issue, not theme related. Disabled all plugins and reactivated one by one.

Turns out Jetpack is the issue. I think its related to the feature that was added to allow “Tweetstorms” to blogs?

I am working through Jetpacks settings now, but if anyone knows the direction I need to take, would be very helpful.

    thanks again for the help

    Hi there,

There was a bug related to Publicize in Jetpack 9.0.1, but it should be fixed as of version 9.0.2, so please make sure your copy of Jetpack is updated to that version.

If you’re still seeing this even with Jetpack 9.0.2, please check clearing your browser cache helps, or if this still happens if you log in using another browser or incognito/private mode.

If that doesn’t help, please let us know in which browsers, including version number, you’re getting this error.

    Hi,
I just got the error when I wanted to publish my latest post.
After searching for it, I found this post.
It took me some time to find the option that was mentioned, but when I turned it OFF, everything worked.
I was also able to save my draft again.
I had this problem several weeks ago also, but suddenly it was gone.
And to my surprise, it is now back again.
I am using version 9.4 of the Jetpack plugin.
And every week, I will check if there are updates, and install them.
At this moment, everything is up-to-date.
I hope this problem can be fixed and also hope that it will not return any more.
For the rest, I am happy with the plugin.
