• Hello guys, I installed OCEAN WP Theme a few days ago and I unfortunelty can’t save changes I do on Pages.

I read about problems, with customized roles. So I changed the two user to administrator, cuz they were subscriber. Ok.

Should I try another WordPress theme to see if its a problem with OCEAN WP? Someone had the same issue?

Thank you for your time to read this.

I just hanged the Theme and its not a theme problem. It says still Updating failed..

    thx for solutions..

I’m having the same issue. Everything was fine this morning, but when I made some changes to the posts, I got the same error.

The funny thing is that it actually did do the update when I clicked the “view post” link after I got the error message.

I reported this to my theme developer, but I had a feeling it’s a WordPress thing.

Unfortunately, there’s no link to the website involved so we can’t look at it to try to get an idea of where you are, who might be your host, what theme and plugins you might be running.

So we can only guess so much… your site may be broken, your host might be having troubles… you might have a broken plugin.

Try the ‘Health Check’ plugin or kill all the plugins and switch to a generic theme.

Health Check will actually spawn a WordPress with a different theme and all the plugins turned off at your choosing just for you as admin. Your visitors still see your regular website. Your error logs will help you some also.

I can’t stress enough how a link to the broken site… some info about the site like updates and last changes… maybe a screen capture (I hate screen captures but my eyes are old) some of the others here like them.

Adding in links and providing info after the first post may help but I may never see this post again.

Also, it’s worth noting that this could be just a caching problem. I’d clear/purge all the caches related to the site.

Have you check your version of PHP. I having the same problem but the server is running an old version of PHP. Working on updating PHP if it works I’ll let you know.

Everything seems to be working after the PHP update. I’m not getting the error any longer on new post or when editing post.
