    ——————————————————————————–
    Hi Tobias,

I am currently using WordPress 5.2.10, PHP 5.6, and TablePress 1.9.2 on my website.

I also use TablePress extensions DataTables FixedColumns (ver 1.6) and Responsive Tables (ver 1.7).

I am unable to update TablePress to version 1.13 now since it requires a newer version of WordPress.

    I have two questions:

    1) Is it possible for me to update just the 2 TablePress extensions, DataTables FixedColumns and Responsive Tables, to versions 1.7 and 1.8 respectively WITHOUT updating TablePress itself?

    2) Where can I find the change log for the above extensions. I could not find them on the extensions home page, https://tablepress.org/extensions/.

    Thanks much,
    Melissa

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, it should be fine to update these Extensions without updating TablePress at the same time. Essentially, they only contain a new version of their respective JavaScript code library. These should be compatible to the older version of DataTables that comes with TablePress 1.9.2.

(Now, in the long run, I would however strongly recommend to update PHP, WordPress, and then also TablePress on the site. The longer you wait with updating these, the more troublesome it might become in the future.)

    Regards,
    Tobias
