Updating events?

I added this widget with my public calendar, and things look good.
If I add events to my calendar, or update existing events, however, the entries are not updated on the website.
It looks like it’s a cache issue–if I change the widget options for the first time (e.g. decrease from “show 5” to “show 4”), it’ll show the updated events. Also, if I make a change to the iCal url (e.g. add a query string at the end: ?foo1), this also causes things to be updated.
I’d like auto-update–the whole point of this is so that I can manage my calendar only, and not the wordpress widget.
Is this possible?
