Updating episode summary in post

    Hi Hugh,
    I did try looking for the answer to this before posting here, and it probably shows that I’m very new to this.
    I wanted to update an error in my show information. I went to the Podcast Post, edited the information and chose ‘update’ within WordPress.
    Will that eventually update on the out on ITunes and other directories if the episode was already published?
    Or is too late?

  • The most (well programmed) podcast directories check the feed on a regular basis and adopt changes. iTunes had my changes between 5 minutes and 24 hours later – I still don’t know why it was sometimes faster. ??

    Hey Falk! Thanks for getting back to me. And you’re on the money– it updated pretty quickly. Great to know. Hopefully this will help other newbies!
