I have discovered that creating/updating book pages isn’t writing the series and tag information to the Mooberry table (where does that info go, anyway?). I tried rolling back the Mooberry plugin and WordPress to earlier working versions, but that didn’t work.

CORRECTION: I incorrectly installed the previous WordPress version (5.0.3). Upon successfully installing that previous version I have confirmed that Mooberry Book Manager is NOT compatible with WordPress version 5.1. The writing issues are not present in 5.0.3, but they are there in 5.1.

The series, tag, genre, illustrator, editor, and cover artist fields are taxonomies and are written to the standard wordpress taxonomy tables.

I am not aware of any changes with the taxonomy tables in version 5.1 but I will double-check compatibility and fix if it is indeed not working.

You are correct! I verified an issue with MBM and version 5.1. Version 5.1 didn’t change the tables however it did change how the data was being saved to those tables in certain instances, and MBM happened to be one of those instances!

Version 4.1.10 has bee released which resolves this issue, and also continues to work for versions prior to WP5.1.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
