Updating bulk product variation prices

    I want to be able to set a “Global” price for items with variations. I sell products with the following variations, laminated, non laminated, uv printed.

    If I want to increase the price of one variation I have to do so for each item when I want to be able to update them all at the same time.

    My tree is as follows,
    -Product
    -Laminated ($60)
    -Non Laminated ($50)
    -UV Printed ($100)

    If I want to only increase the price of the UV Print variation on every item that shares the attribute, how can I do this?

    I have thought of exporting my store, finding and replacing the prices in excel and then re-importing the file but this doesn’t seem to be the best approach. I also looked at the Elex Bulk edit plugin but I don’t think that will do what I am trying to do.

    Normally, the import/export tool serves as a free workaround for bulk updating prices. We have a bulk-editing plugin that you might want to check out: Bulk Edit Products, Prices and Attributes.

    You could take a look at the documentation to see whether it meets your needs and feel free to reach us via a presales ticket if you have any questions.

    Just to mention another approach, you could consider using a product addon plugin to offer these services (laminated, non-laminated, UV printed) as extra options on your simple products, rather than variations. If you could consider this, we have the Product Add-Ons extension designed for this.
