Updating a translated wp site to an older version

Yes, it sounds a little weird, but here is the thing…

I have wp Finnish version 3.31 and forgot to update. The currant Finnish version is 3.33 and the latest English version is 3.4. If I try to update, it only gives the US English version of 3.4 and warns my translated version will be lost.

I would like to update to 3.33 and have no idea when the Finnish 3.4 version will be ready. Currently there is no option to do this via the wp interface.
Does anyone know how to do a manual update with a specified wp version?

Ideally the wp interface would give the option to update to any of the newer versions instead of the latest.
