On updating the BBP Notify plugin from 2.1.3 to 2.1.5 resulted in a 500 error which on looking at the logs:

Cannot redeclare bbp_admin_repair() (previously declared in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/admin/tools.php:32) in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/admin/tools.php on line 68

Tried reverting 2.1.4 which had the same issue so reverted back to 2.1.3 which is working fine.

BuddyPress is up to date at 2.5.14

Any idea how to overcome this error so I can update the plugin?

    Thanks

    Hi @jhob,

That’s a very weird issue. Can you provide the information from the bbpnns Settings’ Support tab so I can try to replicate it?

    Cheers,

Yeah, it’s really odd. I can’t see that function is getting redeclared and those line numbers don’t even relate to a function declaration!

I’ve also grepped the installation for any other declarations of bbp_admin_repair and none exist.

Is there an email address I could send the contents of the settings support tab to?

Just seen the email address on that admin page, will send along now.

Thanks for the info and helping me troubleshoot it. The fix is out in 2.1.6.
