Updating

  • I am currently using Yashfa 1.2 and would like to update it to the current version 1.7. However I am not that familiar with the coding and how updating the theme manually works. I have customized the theme slightly as well as added advertisements. My question is if I manually update the entire theme, are their certain files that I should not overwrite so my customization would not change? Or does not this not matter?

  • That really is going to depend upon what files you changed. Ideally, you’d need to do a side-by-side comparison of your customised version with the new theme to determine what has changed and how it might impact on your site.
