    Hello, a client of mine uses the Genesis Real Estate template. I made the changes she requested but they’re not being reflected on the site. I just don’t understand why. carriemehome.net A widget and a contact page were updated. I see the changes I made in two places within the Admin but not on the site itself.

    This sounds like a caching issue.

    1. Do you have any caching plugins?
    2. Are you using a CDN like Cloudflare?

    Have you cleared the cache in your browser?

    By the way, on your contact page I see this in the search widget:

    Error 130: Account not activated, please contact the site administrator.

    Cleared the browser cache in all 3 browsers I use and I even looked on my smartphone. The changes I made are still not being reflected on the site. The form is working for me and its displaying just fine. https://carriemehome.net/bio/contact-me/

    I don’t see the error you said was there, the form and page look fine as it does on my end.

    By “look fine” does that mean you see your changes or you don’t?

    Now I see what you’re talking about. That has nothing to do with my issues. On that right side bar I updated the street and city in the Widget and the contact us page. The changes are there in the widget and on the Page but again not being reflected on the site itself.

    On the home page, right side panel, Testimonials section, I just changed the words from She is to She’s and the change took effect. Its a widget just like the address above it but yet the address won’t change.

    That widget on the top seems to be an excerpt from the post you get when clicking “read more”.

    Interesting: The IP address resolves to a host in the UK, which is strange for a New Jersey relator. But then the traceroute winds up at cloudone.smartgridhosting.com, which indicates that there may be a CDN involved. Check with the host to see if that’s the case and, if so, how you clear its cache.

    The host in the UK is correct. I just went to that Page and the address isn’t in the content area nor is there an excerpt on the Page.

    I don’t know, then. I see the change you made in the other widget. I still suspect caching someplac.

    The problem was found and fixed. In the specific widget there are two radio button choices to select from. One is Author Bio and the other Custom Text (below). The Author Bio was selected for some reason and why that was the active selection I don’t know and or how it got changed. Once I changed the radio button to Custom Text (below) the changes I made to the email address and street address appeared on the site as its supposed to.
