Updates to homepage content break page layout

I’m making changes to the front page on my WordPress website. Below is the code of my template for the front page. When I go in and update the content on this page, the layout is broken and I’m forced to restore my database to get it back to where it was working. Any idea what would cause this? I’ve upgraded all plug-ins and WordPress to 3.3.2.
