Updates list?

Why doesn’t this plugin have alerts to let you know there is a newer version available in the admin panel? Or does it? I need to find a way to get alerts when a new version comes out for PRO.
Facebook keeps updating their system every couple of months and it breaks the plugin, then I contact the developer and am told there’s a new version. Wish I would have known about the new version before my client told me there was something wrong. Now my client is asking for a different gallery solution but this one is really the best one for them – it keeps them from having to use the admin panel for photo uploads. I just need to make sure I can keep it working without them noticing it breaking.
