• Hi
I just logged into my site https://www.mappingyourmanor.com for the first time in a while and updated WordPress and also the plugins.
An error message came up saying something about ‘attachment’ being deleted as it didn’t exist- and now most of my images are not showing. The only ones that are, are either featured images, or on the ‘Archive’ blog posts.
Not sure if it was the WP upgrade or the plugin, have tried deactivating each plugin and no difference.
I didn’t build the site myself, so although it isn’t too many to re-link, I’m not sure how to do this on all of them to get it back to how it was… any way of getting it back automatically??

Also have just realised that some pages are not showing any content, for instance the ‘Credits’ page I can see all the text in the dashboard but nothing shows up on the page.

    Nobody?

If anyone can give ideas of how to get my images back, please let me know….

a lot of my content is not showing since upgrading to 3.6.1 and updating plugins

    no ideas anyone?

Try deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the twentythirteen theme to start troubleshooting this.

I suspect that the slideshow script you’re using, “The Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow” may not be compatible with the latest version of WordPress. This would explain why images not part of a slideshow, such as on your archive pages, show, whilst slideshow images don’t.

Unless there’s an updated version of the script available, you may have to switch to another slideshow plugin/script.
