updates are not saved to blog

the blog doesn’t save any updates to profile, orr title or any new post.
This has been going on for six weeks now.
It started when I forgot my password and wordpress sent me a new password.
When I logged on to tyhe blog and changed pasword and saved it, it stiil didn’t recognise my passwpord by the ione sent by word press server.
When I tried to write new story new post, and click save or publish, it blinks and goes back to the old page ignoring the new post.
Anyidea why is this happening.
