• Hello!
I’m having some trouble and I’ve found almost nothing regarding this specific issue (maybe it’s rare).
I migrated my wp site from one hosting to another, the site itself works perfect but I didn’t notice some ‘buggy’ behaviour regarding plugin/themes/translation’s updates.
Basically I would enter wp-admin and have 9/10 updates but either they would dissapear when entering updates or plugin list or they would not let me update citing that the pluign was already up-to-date. Some updates went through, some didn’t, translations are not upto date I can tell.
I’m not sure what is causing this. I’ve searched extensively and cannot figure out even where to look.

    dedicated server:
    core i9, 32gb ram, with C-Panel
centos7.9, nginx reverse proxy, apache, mariadb 10.6, php-fpm, redis, currently using php7.4 (was using 8 but since this happened I rolled back to see if it helped, it didn’t).

  • Updates are also updated automatically. This requires a call to the website whereby the WP-internal cronjob checks the availability and updates it. Do you have “automatic updates” enabled for the plugins?

Another thought: did you check via WP CLI (on the console of the server) which updates are available? Could you try to update them there?

WP-cli doesn’t show updates either. Right now I’ve managed to update everything, but before I managed it in a very gimmicky way wp-cli didn’t show them either.
I’m not sure, maybe it was a plugin blocking the hooks and now that everything is upto date it will work, but I’m not sure.
Cronjobs work fine and I have no plugins with automatic updates. Only core WP.
