    once i figure out my update issues and how to properly do one, will all the css manager settings always be the same?

    Plugins are separate from themes. If you update a theme the plugin won’t be affected.

    i have the css manager plugin installed where people have taught me codes to install that will make changes to the theme. example
    .hentry.no-thumbnail {
    background: none;
    }

    when i install a theme update will all the codes be the same
