I tested one of our development sites with wordpress 3.8 and did not encounter any issues.

Yes, the plugin works with WP 3.8.

What’s needed is an update that works with PHP version 5.4. (Customer gets an error message in the final stage of checkout.)

The latest version of PHP is causing quite a headache for us. I have more information (but I’m afraid no solution) here:
