• I noticed the description to MSTW SS has links that go to error pages. Should this no plugin longer be used? It shows tested up to 5.8.3.

I’m using it list list schedules for a few teams in a club. Thanks.

    Hi,
Thanks for posting here and reminding me that I have been remiss with the documentation. I will fix these links, but MSTW Schedules & Scoreboards was (essentially) replaced by MSTW League Manager a couple of years ago. Although I really don’t support it, I have kept it on the site for many legacy users of S&S. New users should definitely use MSTW League Manager instead. It provides many more features, and although it may sound like a bit of overkill, it can be used in the same, simple ways that MSTW Schedules & Scoreboards was.
    Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the quick response! That’s a bummer. I have used this for at least 5 years and it’s perfect for what my client needs, which is simply listing seasonal schedules for a high school football program. I’d rather not have to add another plugin that has many features I won’t use, and will need styled. I’ll take a look at the MSTW League Manager at some point, but it might make more sense to set up a custom post type instead. Thank you.

Well, maybe I wasn’t quite clear. It is still on this site, and the documentation is on the shoalsummitsolutions.com site. So it can still be used, and it will work with future versions of WordPress for some time. If there are bugs, I will look into them. However, the plugin will not be enhanced in any way.

Oh… got it, ok. I was thinking that you wouldn’t be keeping it up-to-date and there may be risks as far as future versions of WP. That’s great if it’s still usable.

No worries. I haven’t received any bug reports on it in quite a while. I’m not sure if that’s because it works, or because no one is using it (except you, LOL). Anyway, I do test it against the latest version of WordPress whenever I get a nastygram that it hasn’t been updated in N releases of WordPress.
