Updated WordPress to 4.9.4 & unable to access edit page & visual composer

    Hi,

    As stated on my title, after updating wordpress, I go to “page”, then go to my home page & click “edit” , the page loads but nothing appears. Just a blank page. This also happens when i click on “Visual Composer”, it was white page for awhile, then an error appears “This page isn’t working & unable to handle request. HTTP Error 500”.

    Even when I try to create a new page, the screen just loads to blank. I think anything that has to do with “edit page” , the page isn’t accessible & loads to a blank page.

    Hope there’s a solution for this issue. ??

    If you disable the visual composer plugn, do things work (aside from seeing the VC junk in all your posts)? If so, check to see if you’re on the latest version of that plugin.

    I’ve tried switching themes too from my current one (Polar) to the free one like sketch or twentyseventeen. The issue is still there when I click on edit & visual composer. The plugin name for visual composer that I’m using is, WPBakery Visual Composer.

    What do you mean by VC junk? When I deactivate visual composer, the layout of my website goes haywire & there’s coding texts everywhere.

    I’ve check the plugins page, there’s no latest version for it. The version that’s currently installed is Version 4.11.2.1
