updated wordpress – no custom fields or excerpts?

  • Hello,

    I just updated my WordPress and apparently it removed both the custom field and excerpt options from the New Post pages. These fields are necessary for the layout / design of my site.

    Would someone please tell me how to get these options back on the Add new Post page??

    look for the screen options tab near the top right corner in the posts admin page. Click that to slide down an admin panel with options to show your custom fields & excerpts
