    Hello,

we updated woocomerce today, and got into caching issue with add to cart button. After clicking Add to cart, the product is added to cart for less than 1 second than the cart is empty. I’ve contacted server provider (WPEngine) to exclude Cart page from caching, but even after excluding I can not add product to cart.
Would you help providing information about what should be excluded from caching list? so that i can provide my server provider to exclude. They do not know what else from Shop page, Cart page to exclude from.

    Thank you.

    I added a screenshot here

    Hi there!

This is the guide to what needs to be excluded:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/

If you have any caching plugins or minifying plugins be sure to exclude those there too, as well as on the server side cache.

I’m not seeing any other reports of this, and WPEngine are very familiar with WooCommerce so I would check there isn’t anything else on your site causing this like a plugin/theme conflict.

    Thank you.
We followed your instructions but it did not work.
We don’t use caching plugin now.
We are working with theme maker as well.
Please inform if you see any report or solutions about this.

    Thank you.

Have you tried the staging site option that you get on WPEngine? This excludes all server side caching so if it works there it will show what the problem is.

This isn’t the default behavior of WooCommerce so it’s either a plugin, theme or server issue that needs to be corrected.

    Hi there!

There hasn’t been a reply for a while so I’m going to close this ticket.

If you’re still having problems please open a new ticket, thanks!

We don’t have this issue with WPEngine staging, because staging site does not set up cache at all, as WPEngine support team confirmed. It seems to be a conflict with Ajax so we have to find other way to fix it. Turning off Ajax seems working.

    THanks.
