Updated widget and weather no longer there?

The same with my page – the widget displays “No weather information available” though I have not updated it recently.

It looks like OpenWeatherMap that provides the weather now requires an API key to work: https://openweathermap.org/appid

If you have an API Key and it’s still not working. Try clearing the cache: https://halgatewood.com/docs/plugins/awesome-weather-widget/clearing-weather-cache

Added the function for clearing the cache with no luck. Where does the plugin allow for an API key to be input?

I’ve the same problem and even if I added the snippet to the functions.php file (newly created in the plug-in folder), I can’t show the data on the site.

I’ve already obtained an API key from Open Weather Map, but I can’t figure out how to set up the SHORTCODE correctly…

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance =)

Hi, now my widget just says “Current Weather” but nothing else?

I’m not a php coder person but this is what I have on my child theme editor. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated!

I just released version 1.5.3 that has a new Settings page under ‘Settings’ -> ‘Awesome Weather’

You can add your API Key and it would be a good idea to hit the clear all weather cache button. Hope this helps.
