  • I upgraded to 3.2.1 as well, my plugin does not play in FireFox. It plays fine in IE 9 and Chrome and Rockmelt (chrome).

I went to Flyingfox-audio.com with IE and Chrome, your player works fine in those browsers, I visited with Firefox and it did not.

I am going to research the issue with firefox rather than the plugin/wordpress.

So,,, I disabled all add ons, toolbars, etc. etc in firefox and lo-and-behold the jplayer works now for ff. I will have fun trying to figure out which add on was the culprit, but works fine..

I did visit flyingfox-audio.com with all browsers and the audio loads, plays and behaves as it should.. That’s IE9, Safari, Chrome, Rockmelt and firefox.. newest versions of all…

I’m using mp3-jplayer and it works in WP 3.2.1

As for any behind the scene coding errors in script using w3c compatibility checkers i would not know.

But it plays the music fine and etc on the front end.

I think it’s probably a plugin conflict problem you have.

I recently found out mp3-jplayer and WP Jquery lightbox don’t play nice for firefox browser. When you click on an image after music is playing, the music stops.

IE9 and chrome worked fine though.

If you update to 1.7.x please make sure you properly refresh the page in the browser to make sure you’re bringing in all the latest scripts. Hit CTRL+F5 to do this in most browsers.

If you’ve been visiting your site you may well have some of the previous version scripts cached locally somewhere, these will not work with the latest plugin.

omg I’m having a bad day ?? I upgraded WP to 3.2.1 and a handful of plugins, and the player stopped showing at all, so I restored the database and files to what they were before, and I still can’t see it. I’ve tested it in other browsers that I’ve never used to access the site before, and it’s just not there. Checked the settings, and they’re still the same (was set to keep the settings if disabled) and the mp3s are still on the server, everything seems to be exactly as it was and I can’t get it to work anymore… Was working perfectly this morning before the upgrade though.. My brain is fried over this, anyone know how to fix this issue?

    thanks

So I got this thing working but had to change everything around: created a new template to use a widget for the main content where the player is supposed to be, and using the widget, the ONLY setting that works is to add full URLs using Mode2 – it’s not ideal, but works for the moment..
