See other thread. We cannot reproduce the issue in our test environment. Could you please describe the steps you followed to make it happen? Also, you may want to wait for version 3.7.1 and see if that solves the problem.

I did nothing apart from simply updating slim stat to 3.7 via the update screen in admin. Before that, there was no problem. After updating, trying to get the overview or any other stats screen from the drop down in the admin bar resulted in ‘you do not have sufficient permissions’. Using settings to move slimstat to the admin side menu resolved the problem. I have tried returning slim stat to the admin bar and the problem re-occurs.

I am self hosted, so my admin login for the bog and my wordpress.com login (for Jetpack, Askimet etc.) are different, though this does not affect anything else in the admin bar.

Just wanted to say I have the same issue, I did absolutely nothing except simply “update” the plugin, as normal, and boom – You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. Every time. Thank you for the fix ??

Do you feel comfortable re-updating the plugin? We think we found the issue, and we pushed a fix to the repo, but we didn’t change the version number. Alternatively you can wait for version 3.7.1 to be released in about 2 weeks. Please note that switching to Side Menu fixes the issue.

I can’t access the options to change it to the side menu, can I? SlimStat options are completely un-loadable due to the permissions error. At least on my end they are.

You could manually edit wp-slimstat.php and change the version in the headers to something like 3.6.9, to make WordPress think that it needs to be updated ??

I can wait for the fix “fix” I guess, next version I guess! ??

I tried editing the heading areas from 3.7 to 3.6.9, and the plugin DID update correctly thank you. However, I STILL cannot access Slimstat from the top menu admin area, permissions error. It’s not fixed, sorry.

Oh, that’s strange. Could you paste the part of the url after admin.php of one of the pages displaying the error message?

I haven’t heard from you guys in a while. I’m assuming that this is fixed.
