• Emediatly after updating, I’ve started to recieve the “no premission to view this page” message when I try to get into wp-admin on my site. I can log in using the admin username, but I can’t get into wp-admin.

I checked my database, and the usermeta still says I have admin privilages.

    What should I do?

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder using FTP (or use whatever file management application your host provides)

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

Yes, i have the same problem to..
im using defaut themes for WP.3.0
    and i already did :
    – Switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder using FTP (or use whatever file management application your host provides)
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

and still not work, i still can’t login

    Is there any suggestions ?

Three is actually quite good. Check your plugins. No need to delete them:

Create a folder in wp-content/plugins called “backup”
Move all your plugins to it
    Reload you WordPress blog

If you can now access your blog’s admin panel just move the plugins back from wp-content/plugins/backup then reload your admin page then re-activate them one-by-one. I would post a link to tried and tested plugins but the last time I posted the link the post was deleted by a moderator (I posted this same post yesterday).

If you can’t access your admin panel then the problem is with the WordPress 3 files or with your database:

    Database issue – use PhpMyAdmin to view the database then repair and optimize it;

WordPress 3 files missing or corrupted – re-run the update. This can be done via one of the config files; can’t recall which but the instructions are available somewhere within this forum.
