updated to 2.8.6 and now I cant login

    I just updated to the latest version of wordpress. Now I cant login.

    I already went to:

    and following the myphpadmin tools still didnt work. I changed the md5 hash to the correct one using an online tool. But it keeps routing me back to the login page. I DO have the old database backed up. Is there a file I can simply replace that will allow myself and everyone else to login again?

    also I HAVE the correct login and pass and already tried that. I tried submitting forgot pass and that didnt work. I keep getting simply re-routed to the loginpage.

    I tried registering and doesnt seem like I can even do that…

    I just went back to 2.8.4 and will try again.
