updated to 2.2.3 and existing slideshow stopped working

    That’s not an error caused by the slideshow plugin, have you updated other plugins your theme or WordPress as well?

    I don’t know whether ‘Pretty Photo’ is a part of your theme or a plugin you have installed, but removing it will solve the problem. After doing so, your slideshow will work again.

    i’ve not updated my theme or any plugin related to photos (although I did add the Simply Instagram plugin that provides I widget to display Instagram photos on my sidebar:

    Could that be conflicting with your Slideshow?

    Yes, it could. I see it uses the ‘Pretty Photo’ script, which is causing the problem.
